About Us

The California Association of County Treasurers and Tax Collectors (CACTTC) is comprised of the Treasurer-Tax Collectors and Finance Directors in the 58 counties throughout California and has been in its current existence since 1981. Prior to that year, there were two associations: the California Association of County Tax Collectors and the California Association of County Treasurers.

The purpose of CACTTC is to promote the general interests of the members and the respective counties they represent; to strive for high professional standards and through the exchange of information and ideas by stimulating a friendly and cooperative spirit among the membership.

Area I: Northern Area
Butte, Del Norte, Glenn, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Mendocino, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity.

Area II: Bay Area
Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, and Sonoma.

Area III: Mother Lode Area
Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Colusa, El Dorado, Mono, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Sutter, Tuolumne, Yolo, and Yuba.

Area IV: Central Area
Fresno, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, San Benito, Stanislaus, and Tulare.

Area V: Southern Area
Imperial, Inyo, Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara, and Ventura.
